The Library Alehouse was a delightful brewery that me and my family enjoyed. The waitress was very cool and seated us immediately. We got drinks quickly and they were good! I ordered the Alehouse burger with fries medium of course and it was cooked to perfection. We sat outside on the back patio and watched college football. Definitely recommend this place if you find yourself in Santa Monica.

Bryce was so amazing!! our reservation got pushed but he was so kind and helped us out so much. good food and drinks!

My family and I were in the area for lunch and decided to stop by. We heard this place was pretty good and it was football Sunday. Perfect time to get some burgers and drinks. We sat in their back patio area and it was a pretty nice space back there. It allowed you to sit outside but out of the sun and the same for the wind on a windy day. The Cowboy burger was pretty good, I just wish they put a little more sauce on it and it would be amazing and the Cajun fries were good but nothing to rave about. I think I prefer the curly fries. The Alehouse Burger was really good as well. All the flavors blended together really well. I would definitely recommend this place to try.

Loved this place!!! Great beers and great food! Went here on a Friday afternoon and ordered a couple beer, pricey of course but good! Ordered chips and salsa for appetizer and was amazing. But the main thing I loved from this place is their dine out area that they have in the back! Absolutely gorgeous and charming. Plenty of spots to seat. Service was great and the bartenders kept checking often. If in the area again, would definitely go back.

This is a great locals bars in Santa Monica. I like this bar because it's got a super chill atmosphere, where you can actually have a conversation with someone. They have really good burgers here. The chefs cook your burger to your preference and they are really good at accurately cooking the burger rare or medium rare. I really like their Alehouse burger. I normally wouldn't think that Gorgonzola would work on a burger but it's melds perfectly with the garlic aioli. They have really good beers on tap here. I'm not just saying that, they have Pliny the elder, and little Bo pils.... Both world class beers. The service is matches the atmosphere and keeps it chill. I really appreciate the vibe here!

Came here with a girlfriend after a beach day. We got seated right away, we came for lunch on a Friday, and the service was friendly and attentive. We both got the alehouse burger, I subbed in cheddar cheese for the Gorgonzola. I will say that the burger was cooked to perfection, perfectly medium rare. And the fries were crisp and delicious. my only personal feedback/preference is that I wish that they used less garlic aïoli. It seemed to be a bit much and overpowered the burger. They put some on the top and bottom bun so there was definitely more than I personally like. The bun was definitely buttered on the outside as well, so it just felt a little too sloppy/greasy for me. But the flavor was delicious and nothing was left on the plate.

As thousands before me can tell you this is as good a place for a burger and beer as there is in all of Los Angeles. Tonight we had the ale house burger and the Ahi burger with a hummus appetizer. The service was good and the ambiance is that of a relaxed Sunday Funday bar.

Great service, dog friendly and large selection of beers. Good location next to a lot of different restaurants to hop around to. Would love it if they had some games to play. A lot of setting in the back with good sunlight and plants

Came here while waiting for lunch to open--this was SUCH a cute place! Our server/bartender was so friendly and had great service, and we were served very quickly. We didn't eat food, but it seemed that it came out pretty quickly for the other guests who ordered, and the food looked good. She had the Common Space, and I had a Veuve. So good and I would definitely come back!!

I can't say much for the food here, as I only tried their French fries (delicious), however, their monthly trivia was a blast! I came in October with some friends and we had a great time together. We came ahead of time for happy hour, and I ordered a cider. It was alright--nothing mind blowing, but the price was right. The inside of the bar is really cool, pretty small, but lots of charm nonetheless. The outdoor patio area is gorgeous, with an open roof and tons of plants. My only problem is that they leave glasses / silverware out, and so when we chose our table, I was wondering how long those glasses had been there (as there were leaves in my glass and a bug in my friend's). I would suggest they put the glasses upside down, so that nothing ends up in the glasses by accident. I would definitely come back another time, as Main Street in Santa Monica is always poppin at night.
